Targeted Grazing

Discover how our trained and trusted flerd (flock and herd combo) of sheep and goats can transform your landscape!

Targeted Grazing is the intentional movement of ruminant livestock across a landscape for a specific natural resource management goal.

It is a proactive investment in your land’s health, resilience, and fire safety. Our animals don’t just clear fuel—they regenerate soil, improve water holding capacity, disrupt invasive growth cycles, and promote native plant and animal recovery. If you want lasting results we are the team you’re looking for and we’d love to hear from you!

  • Do you have deferred maintenance on steep slopes, concerns about defensible space around the home or outbuildings, or pain in the butt blackberries and poison oak taking over? We got you!

  • We carefully evaluate each site and only bring what we need, maximizing efficiency and targeting vegetation in a responsible manner with our livestock to help you meet your land stewardship goals.

Targeted Grazing treatment cost is based on site specifics like topography, weed pressure, existing infrastructure, water sources, etc.

  • Starting Rates:

    • $450 is generally where the price starts if you are within 25 miles from our base location and we do not need to set up a fence.

    • $650 is the starting price for any job that will require a fence to be set up.

    • $1,600 is the starting price for jobs that are an acre or larger or for any jobs that will take longer than 10 days.

    • We offer a senior discount (65 and older), inquire for details!

    • We host a mutual aid program for those who can’t afford land management services, but are in need of support. Ask about making a contribution to help those with economic hardship!
